Jerry is a 1965 graduate of Grove City High School, who served in the United States Air Force 1966-1970. He started at Roadway Express, Columbus, Ohio in 1970 and took an early retirement after 36 ½ years of service in October of 2006. During Jerry’s career at Roadway Express he held various positions in management and sales with the company. His last 11 yrs he was a Sales Representative for 2 years, Director of Business Development / Regional Sales Manager for 7 years and his last 2 years was spent as the Director of Regional Operations for Columbus Ohio Region.
Jerry has taken the following Real Estate Investing courses over the last 3 years: Lease Option, Wholesaling, Asset Protection, Foreclosures, Manufactured Homes and attends Real Estate Investors Assoication of Columbus, Ohio monthly. Jerry and his wife Carol have purchased 3 HUD single family properties and 1 Bank Owned single family property which they have rehabbed. These investment properties currently are leased out to tenants with options to buy at the end of their 1 or 2 year lease.
Jerry took his Real Estate Realtor training and classes at Hondros College in the fall of 2007 and received his Real Estate License on November 8, 2007. He has taken over 44.5 hours of continues education as of March 3, 2010 on a wide range of real estate topics working to improve his overall knowledge. He immediately went to work for Saxton Real Estate in Grove City and worked in 2008/2009 and did 25 deals learning the business. On January 8, 2010 Jerry decided to go to work with ERA Real Estate First Grove City, Ohio. ERA Real Estate has offices all over the USA and currently has over 3,000,000 listings with great web exposure. Their tag line fits me well ---"Always There For You"!
Jerry and his wife, Carol, are long-time residents of Grove City. They are empty nesters with two sons and two daughters. They have 7 grandchildren ranging from 2 years old to 15 years old that make them proud. Jerry does volunteer work for Meals on Wheels, Charity Newsies and is a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.
Jerry has a passion for Real Estate and loves working with people to find solutions to their housing needs. His overall experience as a business/sales manager, real estate investor makes him a great solutions provider.
